Top 5 Holiday Marketing Campaigns of 2013

In Blogging, Marketing, Michigan Creative by John Crafts

It’s the most wonderful time of the year….for marketing! Christmas brings about the best campaigns and commercials speaking of love, family, giving, and sharing.

Here is a few of my favorites this year…

#1

WestJet: “Real-Time Giving”

If this isn’t top notch marketing, then I don’t know what is. An electronic santa asks boarding guests what their Christmas wish is this year, and low and behold a suprise waits for them at the end of their flight. Nice work, WestJet…I applaud you.

#2

Kmart: “Show Your Joe”

This commercial proved to be quite controversial, but who doesn’t love a good lookin dude shakin it? Kmart used this commerical to advertise their holiday Joe Boxer briefs.

#3

Busch Gardens: “Christmas Town”

A cute story narrating the importance of believeing this holiday season.

#4

Vistaprint: “Wanted You To Know”

This commercial features individuals, like families, business men, clients, etc. sharing their holiday cheer with Vistaprint cards. A featured artist performs as the participants singalong. Show a young child singing of christmas with cheer and I’m sold!

#5

Morrisons: “Go On…It’s Christmas”

Everyone loves a whitty musical number, as stated in my Top 5 Halloween Campaign post, here is another goodie that demonstartes just that! We love the gingerbread man…

There you have it, my top 5 Christmas marketing commercials. Which one is your favorite?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday’s from Michigan Creative Media!
