Instagram Zoom Is Here, Make The Most Of It.

In Blogging by Brian Town

My parents dreams have come true now that Instagram Zoom has been launched. Instead of taking a screenshot of the photo posted so they can get a closer look without reading glasses, this feature is now built into the app itself.

Instagram has made many bold moves in recent weeks, such as launching Instagram Stories.

The Facebook-owned company launched this feature under the same guidelines as Snapchat Stories which came about in the Fall of 2013.

After some criticism of potential copycatting, Instagram came out strong with the reveal of this long-awaited feature.

As always, brands have jumped on the band-wagon in order to optimize this new feature, and we like what we’ve seen so far. It’s crucial to stay up-to-date with every new social platform development, all while keeping your brand intact and the content relevant. So, here are some brands we believe have done an excellent job so far, and some tips to use the new zoom feature effectively.

  1. Bud Light’s Lime-A-Rita
This beverage company used Instagram Zoom to launch of new flavor of margs. We appreciate this scavenger hunt and can’t wait to try it.

  1.  Noosa Yogurt
The “Finest Yogurt” used #instazoom for a little game of hide-and-seek, and it made    their customers laugh.

  1. TBS’s Angie Tribeca
The TV show takes part in another #instazoom scavenger hunt, and we are more than willing to play along.

4. Morning Star Farms
The vegetarian company focuses more on a message than a game in their #instazoom post, and it works effectively.

So, how do you post with Instagram Zoom to make the most of this new feature?

Make it a game, make it fun, make it meaningful, make it interesting, and keep it relevant.
